In-company NVC in brief
- What is it?
- A tailored nonviolent communication training for a single team or organisation, on location or online, delivered by a CNVC-certified trainer.
- Who is it for?
- Teams at municipalities, universities, public agencies, healthcare, education or business who are working on psychological safety, collaboration or more effective leadership.
- How long?
- A workshop lasts half a day (3–4 hours). A learning programme consists of 2–8 half-day sessions. A development programme spans multiple levels of the organisation.
- What does it cost?
- The investment depends on duration and format. Request a quote. You'll receive a tailored proposal within two business days.
Nonviolent communication is not soft or vague. It is clear and directly applicable. Even in the most difficult conversations.
I provide trainings and workshops based on Nonviolent Communication that match the development needs of your team. A workshop lasts half a day. A training varies between 2–8 half-day sessions, often with one or two weeks in between.
Each workshop or training is preceded by an intake conversation with the client, so I am well informed about what is going on in your team.
How we work together
Every programme is tailor-made. These are the three basic formats, which we adapt together to your situation.

Introductory workshop
A half-day session (online or on location) to get acquainted with NVC and directly apply one theme. Ideal for team days or as a first introduction.
◈

◇
Development programme

Inspirerende ervaring!
Door Bart's grote zorgvuldigheid met mensen, hun emoties en behoeften, weet hij met de methodiek van geweldloze communicatie een gevoel van veiligheid te creëren waarin dingen gezegd kunnen worden die anders ongezegd blijven.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between nonviolent communication and NVC?
- Nonviolent communication and NVC are the same thing. NVC stands for Nonviolent Communication, the original English name of the method developed by Marshall Rosenberg. In Dutch it is also called 'verbindende communicatie' (connecting communication). On this website I use both terms.
- Is an in-company training suitable when there is tension or conflict right now?
- Especially then. Tense situations call for more connection, not less. A nonviolent communication training helps teams understand what lies beneath conflicts (needs that are not being seen) and to move forward together from there. In the intake conversation we discuss whether the timing is right.
- Can the training be delivered online?
- Yes. I deliver trainings both on location and online via Teams or Zoom. The exercises are fully adapted for virtual environments. I prefer not to do hybrid. It rarely works well for safety within the group.
- How large can the group be?
- I work most effectively with groups of 8 to 16 participants. Up to 20 is possible. Larger groups I prefer to split into parallel programmes.
- Does the introductory call cost anything?
- No. The introductory call lasts 15 minutes and is completely free and without obligation. If we decide together to explore a programme, a more extensive intake conversation follows, also at no extra cost.
- How quickly can a programme start?
- After a quote and agreement I can usually schedule a first session within two to four weeks. In busy periods (September–November) it is wise to book early.
- Is the training reimbursed or subsidised?
- In-company trainings are usually paid from the training budget. Some sector funds, such as A+O fonds Gemeenten or PFZW for the healthcare sector, partially reimburse communication trainings. It is worth checking this with your HR department.
