Terms and Conditions

Bart Landstra in Leiden (the Netherlands), hereinafter: 'the trainer', operates for his own account under the trade name BART LANDSTRA and is active as a provider of training and coaching in the field of nonviolent communication.

Article 1 – Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all agreements between the trainer and the participant(s) or client(s) for training courses and forms of training and education.

Article 2 – Deviations

Deviations from these terms are only binding if confirmed in writing by the trainer.

Article 3 – Formation of the agreement

The agreement is formed by: the participant signing a registration form; written, email, verbal or telephone confirmation of a registration by the trainer; or confirmation of a scheduled individual coaching session.

Article 4 – Offers and quotes

All offers are without obligation, unless the offer states a period for acceptance. Quotes are valid for 30 days, unless stated otherwise. Prices exclude VAT, unless indicated otherwise.

Article 5 – Cancellation by the participant

Cancellation more than 30 days before the start: 15% cancellation costs. Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before the start: 50% of the course fee. Cancellation within 14 days before the start: the full course fee is due. The participant may, in consultation, send a substitute. For individual coaching: cancellation within 36 hours before the start incurs 100% of the costs.

Article 6 – Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of registration, without giving reasons, by email to the trainer. Any refund is made within 14 days via the original payment method, at no additional cost.

Article 7 – Force majeure

In exceptional circumstances that prevent fulfilment, the participant may reschedule the training within 8 months on conditions to be agreed.

Article 8 – Cancellation by the trainer

The trainer may cancel a training or refuse participation. In that case the participant is entitled to an alternative course or a full refund within 14 days.

Article 9 – Cancellation of individual coaching

A cancellation period of 36 hours applies to individual coaching sessions. In the event of cancellation after this period, the full fee is due.

Article 10 – Payment

Costs are invoiced by email. Payment must be made within 30 days before or 14 days after receipt of the invoice, and before the start of the training. Payment in instalments is possible in accordance with the course information.

Article 11 – Collection costs

In the event of late payment, the participant is liable for reasonable judicial and extrajudicial collection costs.

Article 12 – Liability

The trainer provides his services to the best of his insight and ability. The trainer excludes liability for the experiences of participants during or after the training. Participants themselves are responsible for the results of the training. Consequential damage, business damage and personal injury claims are excluded. In all cases, liability is limited to the amount of the course fee paid.
